Boof’s recovery from recurring skin tumours

Boof’s recovery from recurring skin tumours

Recurring skin tumours in dogs are worrying, and expensive to manage. The option of surgery doesn’t always bring lasting results. The lumps can return within months after surgery, leaving owners unsure what to try next. These growths can be painful, prone to infection, and disruptive to the dog’s everyday comfort.

Boof, a 13-year-old Staffy cross from Australia, had been living with this exact challenge for several years. His owner, Baz, booked a consultation with me in late November 2024.

Boof had three prominent lumps on his belly and side that had persisted for three to four years. Although veterinarians removed them surgically, they consistently regrew within a year. His most recent operation was just a month before our consult; the largest lump had been excised, yet it, along with another, had already returned.

For owners dealing with recurring skin tumours in dogs, Boof’s case highlights a different path worth exploring.

The skin tumour lesions were red, raw, ulcerated, and prone to bleeding. Boof instinctively licked at them, worsening the irritation. While Baz kept them covered to protect the area, the coverings didn’t promote healing and were often soaked through with blood.

November 2024 - First consultation

Following our first consultation, I prescribed three remedies:

  • A constitutional remedy
  • A miasmatic nosode
  • A background remedy for systemic support

January 2025 - First follow-up

By the January follow-up, the tumours had not worsened. In fact, they appeared smaller underneath, though they were mushrooming outward.

Encouragingly, the bleeding had stopped—replaced by black fluid secretion. We adjusted the constitutional remedy while continuing with the other two.

May 2025 - Remarkable progress

At the next review in May, Boof showed dramatic improvement. The lesions had nearly disappeared, the skin no longer required covering, and there was no bleeding. Even more promising—no new growths had emerged. Everything looked fantastic.

June 2025 - Full resolution

By June, the lesions had fully resolved and vanished completely.

Baz’s Testimonial

We are from Australia and have a 13-year-old Saffy x Jack Russel that has developed skin tumours over the last 3-4 years from too much sun.

We had the tumours surgically removed on three occasions, The tumors would return within 12 months. The last time we had them removed they came back in four weeks.

I contacted Paullette from “Natural Pet” and she put him on some homeopathic treatment which absolutely blew my mind.

In six months the tumors have completely disappeared. After spending thousands on surgery, this holistic treatment is the best, and low cost as well. Thank you so much Paulette
